<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid vehicle for suppressing deterioration in fuel costs by directly reflecting intention of a user whether a battery should be charged or not to the remaining quantity of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle includes an engine 2 to be operated by the combustion of fuel, and a motor generator 3 to be operated by using the power charged in a battery 4, and adopted to a hybrid vehicle 1 configured to enable charging the battery 4 from an external power source. An electronic control unit 10 controls operations of the engine 2 and the motor generator 3 so that the remaining quantity of the battery 4 reaches a target remaining quantity of the battery 4 when the vehicle 1 arrives at a destination set by a user, and decreases the target remaining quantity in comparison with the intention of the user when the user has intended to charge the battery 4 at the destination in comparison with the user has not intended the charge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
