摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a mutual recognition interfering neither a UWB radio communication device conducting a multi-carrier communication nor the UWB radio communication device conducting a single carrier communication without deteriorating a throughput even in a utilization environment mixing both UWB radio communication devices by using the same frequency band. SOLUTION: A transmission system 110 for a UWB radio communication system has a plurality of modulators 112 and 113 modulating with an OFDM modulation system and the modulator 114 for an ASK modulating with an ASK modulation system. The transmission system 110 inserts an ASK signal for a line spectrum to a frequency between the frequency channels of a sub-carrier for an OFDM signal as a control channel and transmits the ASK signal. A receiving system 120 has a plurality of demodulators 125 and 126 demodulating with an OFDM demodulation system, the demodulator 127 for an ASK demodulating with an ASK demodulation system and an ASK discriminating section 129. The receiving system 120 receives the OFDM signal while demodulating the ASK signal for the line spectrum inserted between the frequency channels of the sub-carrier for the OFDM signal, and conducts an ASK discrimination.
