PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FM receiver which when judging whether there are a disturbance signal station and a desired signal station, can output a judgment result with small malfunction. SOLUTION: The FM receiver is characterized in that it uses an FM receiving method by which an intermediate-frequency signal amplified by an intermediate-frequency amplifier disposed in the preceding stage of a band-pass filter is amplified and converted by an FM detector into an S curve voltage to output the S curve output having excellent linearity, and a comparing circuit having an optional threshold outputs a result of comparison between the S curved voltage and a comparison reference voltage.
