PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a balance mechanism capable of balancing a mobile element with a simple structure and at a large and high-speed stroke range. SOLUTION: This balance mechanism offsetting a volume of a mobile element by an external force corresponding to the weight comprises a mobile element supporting part 2 supporting the mobile element, and two spring-like supporting arms 3, 4 communicated with both ends of the mobile element supporting part 2 on each end and extending in a direction crossing a moving direction of the mobile element, supported by a base element movably supporting the mobile element on respective other ends, and generating a torsion reaction force. It is desirable that the ends of the spring-like supporting arms 3, 4 are supported by the base element rotatably in a moving direction of the mobile element (rolling bearings 7, 9). Also, it is desirable that the mobile elements supporting parts 2 and one spring-like supporting arm 3 are supported slidably relative to the mobile elements or the base element (linear guides 6, 8).
