PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved assembly, system and method for providing neuromuscular stimulation or therapeutic neuromuscular stimulation by prostheses. SOLUTION: The assembly for neuromuscular stimulation comprises at least one electrode sized and constituted to be embedded in a nervous tissue region or a muscular tissue region set as a target; a percutaneous conductor electrically connected to the electrode and having an exposed area which projects passing through the surface of an external skin; a circuit holding, on a substrate, a carrier sized and constituted to be mounted to the surface of the external skin and constituted to generate stimulation pulse; and an electrode connecting element holding the carrier electrically connected to the circuit, on the substrate, electrically engaging at least a part of the exposed area of the conductor and sized and constituted to apply the stimulation pulse percutaneously to the tissue region.
