PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening device easy to construct, handle and maintain, and capable of greening at a low cost a whole external surface, without distinction of a roof or a wall surface of a building. SOLUTION: This greening device for the external surface of a building is stuck to a base to circulate water and air, and includes a thermal insulation buffer layer which prevents invasion of water to the base, a planting layer to be set on the top of the buffer layer, and a support layer for plants implanted on the planting layer.
