PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter securing the machine body's straight travelability irrespective of furrow widths and that of the front wheel, etc. even in case that the furrow widths are wider than that of the front wheel, etc., and capable of improving seedling planting accuracy through stabilizing seedling planting posture. SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter has the front wheel 3 passing through ridge furrows, a pair of left and right rear wheels 2 and 2 passing through ridge top faces, a seedling planting element 60 having multiple seedling planting parts 60b alternately left and right functioning to make multirow seedling planting in a zigzag fashion in the ridge furrows while ascending and descending in between the front wheel 3 and the rear wheels 2 and 2, and a front wheel-turning device 50 for turning the steering direction of the front wheel 3 left and right. In this seedling transplanter, a turningly operative tool 51 of the front wheel-turning device 50 is provided at one of left and right sides relative to the front wheel 3 and the seedling planting element 60. Even in case that the furrow widths are wider than that of the front wheel 3, etc., by turning the steering direction of the front wheel 3 left and right by the front wheel-turning device 50, the machine body's straight travelability can be secured. Furthermore, as a relevant operator can easily operate the turningly operative tool 51 while walking on the ridge top face at one of the left and right sides relative to the ridge furrows to be planted with seedlings, the burden on the operator is reduced.
