PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a stand for a flat panel TV set such as a liquid crystal TV set is transported, poles are separated from the stand when packaged and fitted to the stand by a worker by machine screwing because a larger packaging box is required to contain the assembled stand fitted with the left/right poles, and the worker has a trouble in fitting the poles to the stand when inserting the poles into the upside-down stands because the poles project out of the stand to make the stand unstable. SOLUTION: A top buffering member 404 has a hole 408 and a clearance hole 409, and a bottom buffering member 403 has a projection 406 and a clearance hole 407. By inserting the projection 406 into the hole 408, the top buffering member 404 is supported to the bottom buffering member 403. The presence of the clearance holes 409 and 407 allows a pole 405 to be fitted to a stand 401 without interfering with the top buffering member 404 and the bottom buffering member 403.
