PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipurpose writing board which has three functions of a chalkboard, a marker board and a screen together on one writing surface, dispenses with an operation such as inversion or others, can be made large in size since it can be installed permanently, and also can be supplied at a relatively low price. SOLUTION: The writing board 1 is subjected to polishing, baking and other workings for making the writing surface. The writing surface 2 is made light-colored, and the surface roughness is set so that the maximum height Ry in the standard of the surface roughness of JIS B 0601 is set in the range of 4.9-10.5μm in a reference length of 2.5 mm.
