<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for managing power consumption of a computer processor. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: measuring the power consumption volume being consumed; monitoring execution for a final instruction; determining the final instruction address for the final instruction; determining the measured power consumption for the final instruction; and storing the final instruction address into a power consumption history table (PHT) in association with the measured power consumption volume.
