<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the irregular density of a transfer image caused by the irregular rotation of a drive roller for driving an intermediate transfer belt which makes a photoreceptor drum driven to rotate by transmission of friction. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary encoder 37 is provided on the drive roller 32 to generate a clock pulse. An exposure device 13a, where LEDs of every pixel are arrayed, writes a latent image line in the main scanning direction. A control part 80 writes the latent image line on the photoreceptor drum 11a, by actuating the exposure device 13a each time the clock pulses of the rotary encoder 37 are counted by a fixed number. Thus, the latent image lines set at equal intervals are written on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11a whose rotating speed is varied. A motor control part 602 adjusts the rotational speed of the motor 601 set proportional to the frequency of the clock pulse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
