<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for power conversion equipment which does not have a switch for switching between series and parallel and further can lessen the capacity requested for a DC power source and reduce various loss. <P>SOLUTION: In the control method for power conversion equipment which is power conversion equipment for driving an AC motor and which generates drive voltage for a motor by generating/composing pulsing voltages from each output voltage of two pieces at least of DC voltage sources connected in series, this system is equipped with a means 21 which generates output command voltage, a means 22 which selects either series drive or parallel drive of the plurality of DC voltage sources, and a means 23 which generates the power distribution ratio at parallel drive.
