<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a three-phase brushless motor of a system capable of further reducing a power source current from a current for one hole signal generating portion. <P>SOLUTION: As a result of investigation of a timing for energizing a power source of a position signal generating portion, it is understood that power is applied for only the time period when a phase switching signal is generated, energization is not required for other time period. Accordingly, the brushless motor is configured so that a switching element to be turned on/off by a control section is connected between a hole signal generating portion and a regulator circuit for each phase, a phase change timing of each phase is calculated by the control section based on the output of the position signal generating section, the control section controls the switching element to energize the power source of each of the position signal generating sections only during a phase switch time, and energization is not executed for other time period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
