METHOD FOR PRODUCING FERROUS CHLORIDE SOLUTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a high purity ferrous chloride solution by removing heavy metals in a crude ferrous chloride solution containing the heavy metals to a low level by a simple means, and to provide a method for obtaining a high purity ferrous chloride solution by using a chelate resin regenerated by a simple technique.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the ferrous chloride solution comprises removing heavy metal impurities in a crude ferrous chloride solution (for example, a waste solution generated in an etching process for etching an ITO material or the like by ferric chloride) by using a chelate resin having polyamine group or N-methylglucamine group. In the method for producing the ferrous chloride solution, a main heavy metal impurity is indium.
