PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic device capable of intuitively recognizing the size of a region of a medical image to be measured. SOLUTION: Ultrasonic diagnostic equipment 1 detects an echo signal reflecting a form in a subject and generates image data for a medical image on the basis of the echo signal, and is used for measuring the state of growth of a fetus. The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment 1 is provided with: a display part 81 for displaying the medical image G based on the image data of the medical image; a measurement processing part 61 for measuring the size of the medical image (area of an interest) G; a storage part 7 for storing standard value information 72 which includes the standard value (an average value or allowable range) of a size (BPD and the like) of regions in the body corresponding to the medical image G. The ultrasonic diagnostic equipment 1 displays on a display part 81 a standard size imageαST indicating the size in the display picture 81A corresponding to the average value or allowable range (a minimum value and a maximum value) included in the standard value information 72 together with the medical image G.
