PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and device for a solid electrolyte layer composed of a dense glass-like solid electrolyte that does not include a crystal having properties of deteriorating ion conductivity. SOLUTION: The solid electrolyte layer manufacturing method is composed as follows. A source material is thermally sprayed to a base material while cooling the base material to a temperature within a temperature range from -200°C to 20°C. The solid electrolyte layer is composed of a glass solid electrolyte in which a crystal peak of the source material is not measured in X-ray diffraction (CuKα:λ=1.5418Å). COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
