PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver/reproducer in which a user can select a channel for viewing/listening a desired program by simple operation. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiver/reproducer comprises a means 13 for registering a selected program as a liking program by assigning the broadcast channel of a program selected by a user for every time slot to a specific channel set as the liking channel, a means 20 for generating program guide information indicating the scheduled program of every time slot for every channel including the liking channel from the information of the liking program and the program information added to a received program, a means 25 for selecting the broadcast channel of liking program corresponding to a selected time when the liking channel is selected, and a means 17 for outputting and displaying the generated program guide information or a program under broadcasting on the selected channel.
