PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the simple loading of a filter on or its unloading from a filter chamber with an upper end opening part opened from a loading/unloading port in the top surface by centering the filter chamber with the loading/unloading port while easily avoiding accidental jamming on the top surface. SOLUTION: The filter chamber 36 for trapping foreign matters is provided in the course of a circulatory air feeding path 5 adapted to implement the drying process of washing by circulating the washing through the circulatory air feeding path 5 equipped with a dehumidifying means and a heating means. The filter 91 to be loaded on or unloaded from the filter chamber 36 is loaded or unloaded through the loading/unloading port 51 opened in the top surface 44a of the main body of the washing/drying machine. The loading/unloading port 51 is disposed at a part of the top surface plate 44b fixed on the cabinet 151 to make the top surface 44a and the filter chamber 36 is so arranged temporarily as to be movable in any direction around the center above the cabinet 151 and then, finally fixed being centered with the loading/unloading port 51 in the top surface plate 44b.
