<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink set having improved image preservability such as image light resistance, ozone resistance, bleeding, etc. , especially excellent beading at a part of mixing magenta with black in forming a full-color image using an ink set and to provide an ink-jet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set comprises, for example, a dye represented by general formula (M-2) of the figure in a magenta ink and a dye represented by general formula (Bk-6) in a black ink.
