<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor which attains downsizing of an axial direction, and suppresses deterioration in detection accuracy of a rotary detection sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The motor 2 includes a housing case 11 of a cylindrical shape with a bottom, a stator 12, a rotor 13 having a rotating shaft 31, a pair of bearings 15a, 15b which pivotally support the rotating shaft 31, and a resolver 53. One bearing 15a is arranged at a bottom portion 11a of the housing case 11. Moreover, a holder plate 41 is fixed to an opening 11c of the housing case 11, wherein on the holder plate, a sensor stator holding portion 42 and a bearing holding portion 43 which line up in an axial direction, and form a coaxial shape are formed on a sheet material consisting of a steel material. Furthermore, the other bearing 15b is made of the steel material, and held in and retained by the bearing holding portion 43. A sensor stator 51 constituting the resolver 53 is held in and retained by the sensor stator holding portion 42, and the bearing 15b and the sensor stator 51 adjoin in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
