PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow reading of a document safely, in reading documents, especially at a public place or non-private environment. SOLUTION: In some means of safe reading of documents in a non-private environment, the presence of a removable media device which is connected to a reading device and can be accessed and written may be detected. Otherwise, a user may be offered with an interface for setting a reading-related parameter, including a reader-related parameter, document-related parameter, and parameters related to a removable media device. The document read may be stored in the removable media device if it satisfies a user-specified reference.
