PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network equipment which can display a correspondence relationship between packet filtering rules and logs of filtering results in an easy-to-understand manner and can display a function of a renewed rule based on the logs. SOLUTION: Logs of packets filtered based on a plurality of packet filtering rules are stored in a log table. On a GUI screen, the plurality of packet filtering rules are displayed in a tabular format and the logs of packets suited for individual rules are displayed in one-to-one correspondence with the rule. When the rules are renewed on the GUI screen, the logs are filtered again by the renewed rules and the correspondence relationship between the rules and logs is changed according to the renewed rules.
