PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jacket core, improving positioning accuracy in casting of a cylinder block by utilizing the existing equipment, improving dimensional accuracy of a water jacket in a cylinder block, and improving a handling property. SOLUTION: The water jacket core 1 is used in casting of a cylinder block, and is used for forming a water jacket provided to a circumference of a cylinder bore in a cylinder block. A positioning member 10 is formed integrally with the core body 2. The positioning member 10 has: an inserted part 11 including a hollow part (hole part 13) in which a core pin 7 for forming a bolt hole (a head bolt hole) for tightening a cylinder head disposed to the cylinder block; and a support board part 12 having a part disposed in a water jacket core body (core body 2) and supporting the inserted part 11 with an arranging attitude corresponding to the head bolt hole.
