PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical guide plate which has high transparency, heat resistance and scratch resistance, especially low birefringence. SOLUTION: This optical guide plate comprises a copolymer having an absolute birefringence value of≤1.0×10<SP>-4</SP>and comprising alkyl unsaturated carboxylate units, glutaric acid anhydride units represented by general formula (1) (R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>are each identically or differently H or a 1 to 5C alkyl group), or further unsaturated carboxylic acid units, or furthermore other vinylic monomer units.
