GRINDING WHEEL HAVING TILTED GROOVE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate the life of a grinding wheel by preventing the releasing of super grains by reinforcing tilted grooves with an adhesive agent, the tilted grooves being engraved on the grinding surface of the grinding wheel by a machining operation. SOLUTION: The grinding wheel is formed by sticking a plurality of grinding stone tips on a core, the grinding stone tips having an abrasive grain layer 12 including super grains. A plurality of tilted grooves 20 tilted with respect to the circumferential direction of the grinding wheel are each engraved on the grinding surface by the machining operation. The abrasive grain layer 12 having the engraved tilted grooves 20 is reinforced with the abrasive agent 25 at the side walls 24 of the tilted grooves 20 on the backward side in the direction of the rotation of the grinding wheel.
