PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flexible tube for an endoscope, reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A core material connection body 22 is prepared concerning the method for manufacturing the flexible tube 18, which includes: at least two core materials 24 serially arrayed; and a connection part 26 for connecting both the adjacent core materials 24, so as to allow the materials 24 to be mutually separable, and where one flexible tube 18 for an endoscope is formed with the use of one core material 24. The respective core materials 24 of the core material connection body 22 are successively transported to a helical tube forming part 36, so as to form the helical tube 38 in the outer peripheral part of each core material 24. The respective core materials 24 with the helical tubes 38 formed therein are successively transported to a net shape tube forming part 40, so as to form a net shape tube 44 in the outer peripheral part of the helical tube 38 in each core material 24. The respective core materials 24 with the net shape tubes 44 formed therein are successively transported to an outer jacket forming part 46, so as to form an outer jacket 52 in the outer peripheral part of the net shape tube 44 in each core material 24. The core materials 24 with the outer jackets 52 formed therein are separated from the core material connection body 22, and the core materials 24 are removed from the flexible tubes 18 formed in the core materials 24.
