<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and reliability when carrying an item to be stored of a packaging container. <P>SOLUTION: A packaging tray 1 is provided with a storage part for storing, in an approximately horizontal direction, a liquid crystal display device comprising a liquid crystal display panel 100, a flexible circuit board 200 connected with the liquid crystal display panel 100, a PCB 300 connected with the liquid crystal display panel 100 through the flexible circuit board 200 and a protrusion part 2 formed to protrude to the rear surface side of the storage part. When packaging trays 1 are stacked in a plurality of stages, the bottom surface 2a of the protrusion 2 of the upper stage packaging tray presses the upper surface 100a of the liquid crystal display panel 100 stored in the lower stage packaging tray 1, so that the liquid crystal display panel 100 is fixed.
