<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell type distributed power generating apparatus that can significantly shorten trial operation time for confirming the operation of a grid-connected protective device before starting power generation and grid-connected operation after its installation at actual use location. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell type distributed power generating apparatus includes a DC power generating apparatus 10 provided with a fuel cell 12 that outputs DC power, a DC-to-AC conversion apparatus 21 for converting DC power that is output from the DC power generating apparatus 10 to AC power in a way allowing grid connection with a commercial AC power supply 30, a grid-connected protective device 22 for protecting the commercial AC power supply 30 from abnormal operation of the DC-to-AC conversion apparatus 21, and a control device 23 for controlling the operation of the DC-to-AC conversion apparatus 21 in cooperation with the grid-connected protective device 22, which are integrated and accommodated in a common housing 4.
