<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information distribution device capable of reducing communication costs by reducing the amount of information communicated, and accurately distributing predicted traffic information. <P>SOLUTION: If the CPU 11 of an information distribution center 3 receives a variety of vehicle information such as a navigation identification ID, the coordinate data of the position of one's own vehicle, and the coordinate data of a destination, along with a request command for requesting predicted traffic information sent from a navigation device 2, it searches for a basic route based on update map information 14A, and sets a range of distribution to which traffic information pieces 16A, 16B, 16C are to be sent (S111 to S112).
