PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molecule-recognizing material and its simple manufacturing method, and to provide a molecule-recognizing material having selective adsorption performances on bisphenol A and its simple manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The film-shaped material having formed a molecule-recognizing portion therein is simply formed by dissolving an existing polymer in a solvent, adding a template polymer to the resultant polymer solution followed by agitation, and removing the solvent and the template molecule. The molecule-recognizing composite material having a desired shape suitably coated with the molecule-recognizing polymer is simply manufactured by immersing a desired substrate in a mixed solution of the polymer solution and the template molecule and then removing the solvent and the template molecule.
