PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material which has a cushioning effect by simply wrapping a commodity as it is, can easily be fixed without using a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, reduces the wasteful use of resources and promotes environment protection, and is friendly to the natural environment. SOLUTION: A cushioning member for which a continuous uneven shape is formed by repeatedly being folded at a plurality of folding sections in parallel, and a sheet-form base material are stacked, and bonded at specified sections for this cushioning material having an information displaying function. The width dimension of the sheet-form base material is made wider on both width sides than the width dimension in the folding direction at the folding sections of the cushioning member, and the cushioning material has a section on which the cushioning member is not stacked on the sheet-form base material.
