PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate safe braking force even when failure, in particular, leakage of a braking liquid from a wheel cylinder is generated. SOLUTION: The braking device is provided with a liquid pressure source; and a plurality of wheel cylinders operated by the braking liquid fed from the liquid pressure source. When leakage of the braking liquid from any one of the plurality of wheel cylinders is detected, a feeding amount of the braking liquid to the wheel cylinder in the liquid leakage is stepwise reduced (Fig. 7 (3)) and a brake liquid pressure of the wheel cylinder of a normal wheel in no liquid leakage is controlled to a target liquid pressure (see FR wheel after completion of second determination in Fig. 7 (1)). Further, a feeding amount of the braking liquid from the liquid pressure source is reduced (Fig. 7 (5)), and the brake liquid pressure of the wheel cylinder in no liquid leakage is controlled to the target liquid pressure. Further, the target brake liquid pressure of the normal wheel in no liquid leakage is reduced/controlled (step-like target liquid pressure indicated by a broken line in Fig. 7 (1)).
