PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle approach warning device capable of adjusting sound volume and sound production frequency regardless of the speed of the bicycle or condition of the road. SOLUTION: The bicycle approach warning device 20 is equipped with a clip means 18 detachably mounted on a pedal shaft of the bicycle, and a C shape type spring 11 which is disposed at the outside of the clip means 18 and where the both ends are fixed to the tip end of the clip means 18. A bell 13 is slidably mounted on the spring 11. When this device 20 is mounted on the pedal shaft 5 to use, the device 20 is rotated, and sound is produced every time when the bell 13 is moved along the spring 11, and hits to a predetermined place.
