摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform irradiation in terms of energy by securing a necessary and sufficient irradiation range to an image frame. SOLUTION: An illuminator includes a plurality of light emitting elements (light emitting diodes 1). Some of the plurality of light emitting elements change irradiation angles by operating their optical axes L in accordance with a viewing angle for imaging interlocked with zoom operation of the imaging apparatus. Some of the light emitting elements change the irradiation angles interlocked with the movement of the zoom ring of the imaging apparatus. Some of the light emitting elements operate so that the optical axes may be arranged in radiation directions interlocked with the zoom operation of the imaging apparatus. The light emitting elements are arranged along the diagonals of the image frame for imaging of the imaging apparatus. The image frame for imaging is set so that at least the length of a horizontal side may be longer than the length of a vertical side (for example, the ratio of the length of the vertical side to that of the horizontal side is set to 3:4 or 9:16).
