PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve functions such as handleability in a cabinet provided with one vertically long drawer with a sideways opening, whose height dimension is much larger than the width dimension. SOLUTION: The front plate 10 and back plate 18 of the drawer 3 are connected at the upper part by left and right upper frames 13. The upper frames 13 are extruded workpiece and provided with an inward step part 21, a sideways groove 22 opened outward and a downward groove 23 positioned below the sideways groove 22. A tray 16 and a top plate 35 can be disposed so as not to be shifted to the side by utilizing the step part 21, the sideways groove 22 is used also as the housing part of a latch pawl, and a side plate 14 can be attached using the downward groove 32 further.
