PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suture system joining the separate ends of a stab wound without forming a larger cut for exposing the edge of the wound. SOLUTION: A suture thread material 4 including needles 6 is loaded in the system, and the system 2 is introduced into and positioned in a body cavity in a state of having deployable needle guides 10 at a distal end. The needle guides 10 are simultaneously or individually extended around the wound 14, and the needles 6 and the suture thread material 4 are driven into a catch mechanism 16 through the tissues to be joined, to adjust the needle guides 10 and the wound. The needle guides 10 are retracted to pull out the system 2, and a loop of the suture thread material 4 is left at the edge of the tissue.
