<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new imide-modified elastomer which is a rubber-like material with a flexible elastic modulus, and has high strength and high heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The imide-modified elastomer is represented by general formula (I). In the formula, R<SB>1</SB>represents a divalent organic group having an aromatic ring or an aliphatic ring, R<SB>2</SB>represents a divalent organic group having a weight average molecular weight of 100-10,000, R<SB>3</SB>represents a divalent organic group having an aromatic ring, an aliphatic ring or an aliphatic chain, R<SB>4</SB>represents a tetravalent organic group containing four or more carbon atoms, n represents an integer of 1-100, and m represents an integer of 2-100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
