<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the sterilization treatment of a fabric or paper product with a small amount of acidic water formed by electrolysis in a short time so as to improve sterilization efficiency in a cleaning method by which a cleaned fabric or paper product is disinfected and sterilized by using acidic water formed by electrolysis. <P>SOLUTION: A cleaned fabric or paper product is approximately completely dried, and the dried and cleaned fabric or paper product is sterilized by being impregnated with acidic water formed by electrolysis, which has sterilization ability.
