<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generator which simulates the key release string vibration sound of an acoustic piano and a casing resonance sound. <P>SOLUTION: Waveform data is read out of an ordinary musical sound waveform storage section 15 during key pushing. Ordinary musical sound waveform data is inputted to a filter 21 and is inputted via a band-pass filter 33 to the filter 22. The output waveform data of a casing resonance sound waveform storage section 17 is inputted to the filter 23 during the pushing key. The outputs of the filters 21 to 23 are composited in an adder section 27 via multiplier sections 24 to 27. The cutoff frequency of the filter 22 is sufficiently lowered to obviate the generation of the key releasing string vibration sound during key pushing. Unless a damper is turned on during key releasing, a cutoff frequency of the filter 22 is returned to normal and the key releasing string vibration sound is generated. A level controller 32 attenuates the key releasing string vibration sound and the casing resonance sound by spending the time longer than for the ordinary musical sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
