PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of specifying by a user where focusing is made. SOLUTION: The imaging device of the present invention comprises: an imaging part for imaging a picture image; a focusing control part for controlling a focusing position of the imaging part; a region specifying part for specifying, in the picture image imaged by the imaging part, a predetermined specific region including the focusing position set by the focusing control part when the imaging part images the picture image; a display part for displaying the image imaged by the imaging part; and a display control part for controlling the display part to more brightly display the specific region specified by the region specific art than other region.
