摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for predicting coefficients of the sliding friction of road surfaces and capable of predicting coefficients of sliding friction of road surfaces, by creating a heat balance model and an ice-water-air balance model of the state of road surfaces, and quantitatively evaluating each model by simultaneous coupled analysis and provide its program. SOLUTION: Prediction data etc on meteorological conditions and traffic conditions are set (S100 and S101). Heat balance is computed on the basis of a previously constructed heat balance model (S102), and each balance is computed, on the basis of a previously constructed ice-water-air balance model (S103) to compute prediction data on the state of snow and ice (S104).
