PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate door opening malfunction in a refrigerator comprising a door opening device and a control device for controlling operation thereof. SOLUTION: When an input signal from a door opening switch provided on a door front surface of the refrigerator is received, a buzzer is made to sound (step 2), a timer is started (step 3), and voltage is applied to an electromagnetic solenoid of the door opening device (step 3). The application of voltage is continued until the timer is counted up in step 5. When the timer is counted up, the application of voltage is ended in step 6, and the timer is cleared in step 7, whereby a door pressed part is pushed by protruding operation of an output shaft to open a door.
