PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive two-way clutch having a simple structure, enabling smooth operation and preventing noise. SOLUTION: The two-way clutch is provided with a housing, an input member having a plurality of input engagement pieces, an output member having output engagement pieces engaged with the input engagement pieces, an intermediate member, and a spring member applying elastic force to the intermediate member. Rotating drive force from the input member is transmitted to the output member, and rotating force from the output member is not transmitted to the input member. The input engagement piece has an inclined abutment face having a predetermined angle with respect to the rotating direction of the input member on the side face, and the inclined abutment face applies press force toward outside or inside with respect to the rotating direction of the input member to the intermediate member when the input member is rotated.
