PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact power transmission device capable of achieving a large transmission ratio without increasing a difference between outer diameters of first and second rotation bodies larger than the necessary and obtaining sufficient rotating torque by efficiently using magnetic forces of magnetic pieces. SOLUTION: On opposing faces of the first and second rotation bodies 8, 12, magnetic pole parts with different numbers of poles are provided in the circumferential direction. Power is transmitted in a noncontact state between a first rotating shaft 1 and a second rotating shaft 2 provided on the same axial line with one rotation body 8 serving as an input side and the other rotation body 12 serving as an output side.
