PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material having an information displaying function which can exhibit a cushioning effect by simply inserting a commodity as it is, or by simply wrapping the commodity, and in addition, transmits information to a person who sees it by applying desired design or information on appearance, and also, can give a favorable impression, is excellent in design effect, and in addition, has a cushioning effect which does not bring a harmful effect to the natural environment. SOLUTION: This cushioning material has a cushioning member having a regular uneven shape, and a sheet-form base material having an information displaying section on the surface. On the upper side of the cushioning member, the sheet-form base material is stacked, and the cushioning material has a bonded section to which the top of the protruding shape of the cushioning member and the back surface of the sheet-form base material are bonded.
