PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side part structure capable of enhancing energy absorption performance relative to inward load input in a vehicle width direction. SOLUTION: The vehicle body side part structure 10 is provided with a rocker 12 made to a longitudinal direction in a vehicle body longitudinal direction, having a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction made to a close cross section and connected to an outer end in the vehicle width direction in a floor panel 14; and an energy absorbing member 42 comprising a fiber reinforced plastic and arranged in a rocker 12. In the energy absorbing member 42, a crest part and a bottom part formed to a circular shape are formed to a wave shape alternately continued in the longitudinal direction, and the longitudinal direction is coincident with the longitudinal direction of the rocker 12, and the crest part and the bottom part are arranged in the closed cross section of the rocker 12 at attitude that they are positioned at an end in a vehicle body vertical direction.
