<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a 9,10-dialkoxyanthracene-2-carboxylic acid compound and a use of the compound. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing a 9,10-dialkoxyanthracene-2-carboxylic acid compound characterized by reducing 9,10-anthraquinone-2-carboxylic acid and then etherifying the resultant product, a visible-light polymerization initiator containing the resultant etherified compound and a method for curing a photocurable composition containing the visible-light polymerization initiator are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
