<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate in which light from an incident end face part is refracted and total reflected with diffusion and convergence, and uniform and bright outgoing light is obtained from an outgoing face part and a flat lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of shapes 7 with ridge lines having curvature lines which change continuously to become gradually wide or gradually narrow to Y axis direction against X axis and X axis direction against Y axis in the X axis-Y axis direction which is a side direction of a light guide plate 2, and change continuously in depth and height in Z axis direction being the thickness direction of the light guide plate 2 according to changes in the Y axis direction and the X axis direction, are provided at the outgoing face part 6 and the opposite outgoing face part 5, and the light from the incident end face part 3 of the light guide plate 2 is deflected to a desired direction by carrying out complicated three-dimensional refraction and total reflection, and uniform and bright outgoing light is obtained from the outgoing face part 6 by convergence and diffusion or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
