PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and low-cost liquid storage container which supplies ink to an inkjet recording head with back pressure within a predetermined range, and improves an ink storage efficiency and a consumption efficiency, and also to provide a liquid supply system. SOLUTION: A sub tank is provided which stores, as a buffer, ink supplied from a detachable main tank in a sealing state with a releasing mechanism of inflated inner air. The sub tank is provided with an air communicating hole and an overflowing ink storage in the way to the hole. Small-sized impregnating members are arranged at the ink introduction port in the sub tank and at the air communicating hole so that the change of the pressure in the main tank is adjusted.
