PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element having satisfactory strength, even when reduction in weight and cost and improvement in dimensional accuracy are to be realized. SOLUTION: The optical element includes a plurality of plate-like parts 1, 2, 3 in which the functional films are formed on at least each of sides thereof, and first and second support members 4 and 5, disposed facing each other.
